Brief

To re-surface existing play area with new rubber wet pour and replace x 2 items of play equipment within a budget of £20,000.

Competition

We tendered for the project against 3 or 4 other companies (some local, some national).

Actual Works December 2007

  1. New stone sub base and kerb edgings.
  2. New rubber safety surface (to meet current standards) in black with 2 areas of colour.
  3. New Kompan and Wickstead units to provide more interest for the children and replace aging equipment.

Carried Out

Over approximately 10 days and as brief included fencing the work zone, liaising with client and post completion safety certificate by a play area inspector.

Finished Article

Client and children are happy with the end product.
